You can't pin-point where on your body you lose weight. You can target specific muscles to work on and build up in size but you need to reduce overall body fat to lose "weight" ie eat healthily, drink less alcohol and sugary drinks. In terms of exercise, 30mins walking if you do it 5 times a week and walk fast (to the point that you can still talk but can't sing) will help if your diet is good too. To target upperbody muscles pump your arms hard perhaps carrying light weights.....

I'm not sure about gaining mucle but it'd hep you lose some weight. Not much though. If you would like to lose a sufficient amount of weight you can get a work out video. Yoga, pilates, kick boxing...they can all help in their own ways. If it helps for you to be a group setting you can join a sport or a class at a gym. Once you actually join a gym you can run, bike, or use the stair climber for cardio and losing weght. For toning ang gaining muscle they have a myriad of machines for almost every part of your body. Remember that eating right is just as important to losing weight though. Don't stop eating as that will slow your metabolism a great deal and harm your health. Rather eat smaller portions and snack on healthier foods such as fruits and vegeatbles in between meals. Good luck

Not quickly. 30 minutes of walking will only burn 100-200 calories at most, so we're talking maybe a pound a month.

Fat will come off wherever the fat is. You don't get to pick.

There is alot more involved. Thrty minutes does not usually do much if it is only walking aerobics, cardio, and workout for 30 minutes helps more.
