Mainly Catholic in the Republic, but lots of Protestants too, and a fair smattering of Muslims, Jews, Bahai, Hindu (not too many of those), some Hare Krishnas, Buddhists, and of course Pagans (including Wiccans).

The republic of Ireland is mostly Catholic 88.4%
Northern Ireland is more of a mix. 38.4% Roman Catholic, 21.4% Presbyterian, 17.7% Church of Ireland, and 3.8% Methodist.
