I had my first baby 4 months ago, gained 35 lbs with the pregnancy, lost 20 immediately (lots of water weight), but can't seem to lose the rest! My biggest problem is I can't do much cardio- It's already 100+ degrees here so it's hard for me to get out of the house to exercise. Gyms are too expensive. Any suggestions as to what I could do at home?

you can get some workout (cardio) dvd's or even elliptical at home (there are pretty cheap in walmar i think).
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Most areas have groups where moms get together and do walks and exercise, to not only support each other, but for companionship.

Some community centers have reduced rates on the use of pools, maybe you can take the baby and do water exercise. It's low impact and maybe you can teach the little one to swim (it's never too early).

There are tons of videos about mommie and me exercises on how to exercise WITH the baby, so you not only get fit, but spend that quality bonding time with your child.

Don't be afraid to ask someone to watch your child so you can get out and do other types of exercises, too.

Congratulations, too!

Yes I feel it does support seeing that I have not been eating plan or exercise, however I've dedicated myself not to devour after eight:30 at night time, attempted to give up consuming goodies, and no fried meals, and I have misplaced 31 kilos out of the forty that I received for the duration of my being pregnant. My youngster is four.five weeks historical. I'm obviously NOT eating plan and more often than not I have got to recreation a ton with the intention to shed pounds.

My greatest exercise video I found was walking videos. They looked silly to me at first but since I couldn't do much due to a bad back and like you due to the excessive heat outside I bought them and tried them and they helped me with losing the weight along with my weight loss program.

Look around at the gyms--they shouldn't be TOO expensive. Also check out community centers. We are paying $30/month for a gym fee, which isn't expensive at all.

Try to go swimming with your baby, or take the baby to the mall and do laps. It sounds corny, but you need to get out and just move around!
