Watch your calorie intake. Cut out all "junk foods", sodas, alcohol, etc (at least until you reach your goal). Try to put your cals around 1300 - 1500 a day.
Your exercise is good, if you could add one more day, bonus plan...if not, that's okay but kick it up a notch. Walk faster/harder. Add in some jogging spurts to ramp up your metabolism. Really push yourself, swing your arms, make that 50 - 60 mins REALLY count!
Two pounds a week should be no problem to lose, but since you've been losing weight, you may need to make a change to trick your body into starting to lose again...it's easy to hit a plateau when our body adjusts to a regular eating/exercise plan and all of the sudden we're just maintaining, not losing.
Good luck with the 10 lbs...it's very doable...and enjoy your trip!

Congrats on the current weight loss! It sounds like you're doing great. Is your goal of losing 10 lbs. more realistic for your body type?
When I need to slip into something skimpy and/or revealing, I don't eat anything after 6:00 pm at night. If I do this for 2-3 days, I lose 3 or more pounds. This is NOT the ideal way to maintain a weight loss though!!! For some reason, this works for me. I eat my dinner earlier and I DON'T ever skip meals. Also, drink at least 72 oz. of water everyday. Good luck.

EAT BREAKFAST!!!!
there is an old saying,
eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper
Big Breakfast, medium lunch small dinner
Breakfast= fruit, 3 eggs whites, 1 piece of whole wheat whole grain light toast, milk or orange juice, coffee if you want with skim milk and 1 splenda (best artificial sugar)
lunch= turkey sandwich with a very little bit of light mayo or mustard (russian dressing is out) lettuce tomato, pickles, all the veggies you want on it!, 1 piece of fiber filled fruits (apple , anything with a skin) or nuts
dinner- grilled or baked chicken, fish (can be very lightly breaded with lemon and pepper, if it is salmon you should go with cajun spice on it!), or turkey cutlet, on a salad with a non-creamy dressing (little or none of any dressing at all), one piece of whole wheat bread with margarine or light butter.
Snacks= lowfat crackers with cheese
fiber filled foods ( granola bars light ones only!!), apples, nuts, etc.
carrots, celery, or peppers in lowfat dip
try to eat 2 or less snacks a day, at most 3
drink water and green tea (with 1 splenda or unsweetened)
you can crystal light to water
staying hydrated speeds up metabolism
green tea and green tea supplements also speed up metabolism
excersize- 1 hour, intense cardio 6 days a week, strength or resistance training (3-5 days a week, don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row), 1 day of low intensity cardio a week
good luck, don't try to lose the weight too fast, it will only cause loss of muscle and water, lose it slower and it will be all fat ( don't slow down wight loss on purpose though)
as for the abs and love handles- crunches, leg lifts, leglift-crunch, plank, buy a swiss excersize ball and find an article on how to use it, that should work your abs and muscles known as love handle obliques.
Once again good luck!
Remember, you can do this, I'm rooting for ya!!!!
This is easy when you take it one step at a time because you can have some snacks and stuff and it works for life not just your goal, this will be your whole life eating plan with some treats mixed in every now and then after you meet the goal.
This will take you those last 10 pounds!
Also try these-
park in the furthest spot from your office, change your natural walking pace when walking anywhere! (to work, room to rroom, lunch, faster or slower both work) Drink green tea, drink watre, cahnge the diet, chew sugar free gum, eat celery.

You have got to significantly scale down energy and in addition transfer EVERY DAY. And you'll lose the ten kilos. Cottage cheese is OK whether it is lowfat, however you will have to consume different stuff. I'd reduce out all bread merchandise and sugar. Eat combinations of protein and greens and fruit. Just pass the pasta/bread/rice facet. It sucks however you'll be able to do it for three weeks or a couple of months. If you have got to have slightly carbo make it entire wheat. And opt for a stroll a minimum of every day to step matters up. After the primary three-five days of this it's going to begin to return off.

move your body with rocking music. that's the most efficient enjoyable exercise i find. you walk a lot. that's great. increase your pace to maybe short of jogging if you can cope with it.
drink water before your meals, that'll reduce the stomach capacity for food. i know it is recommended not to mix water with meals as it disrupts digestion, but it surely does help from eating excessively.
substitute drinks with water.
include more of raw or boiled vegetables in your diet unless you're a non-veg.

Instead of walking, run. It really works. I just lost 20 pounds just through running everyday. It burns a lot of calories and it's really good for toning your body. Also, just at least 100 crunches per day, and you can do squats as well to tone your butt and quads. Good luck!
