At that age, you tend to get caught up in your day to day routine too easily. Take time out for yourself. AT LEAST once a month, i kick my boyfriend out of the house, put a mud mask on, make a martini, and watch TLC. Don't worry if the place is a mess, turn off your cell phone, give yourself a pedicure. Maybe even invite one of your closest friends over for the night, sit up and talk about what is going on in your life. Get it all of your chest!! You will feel so refreshed the next day, less stressed out, and more easy going.

rigth when you think its safe to go back into the water , guess what ? once you reach the end of your patience the tank re-fills and then at a more mature age { every year and experience brings even more maturity } you realize that there is absolutely no reason at all to rush things along as everything does happen for a reason and if it truly doesnt at least you can find solace in knowing that you didnt play along in the scheme to spin the world as we know it into some speed freak society that cares nothing for life or death but only instant gratification , in my eyes , the worst kind . so hang in there baby and if it gets worse before it gets better we'll all be prepared to meet in heaven or a like place away from all these krancsters.

I think you need to figure out what it is that is causing you to loose your patience. Do you have children and are they stressing you out?
I use to feel they way you are when my kids were young. I always wanted to keep my house picked up and felt I was obsessing over it. Once I realized they are kids and let it go and relax, I was much more patient. Stressing over things that aren't worth stressing over just isn't worth it.
Try to figure what triggers your impatience and go from there.
Good luck, you are young and I think as you age and gain more wisdom, you gain patience!

You should actually gain patience with experience the older you get. Maybe you're not in the right line of work. Something about you I feel you don't like. Whatever that is should change. Take care of yourself first.

Are you under increasing stress with family obligations and work? Maybe something simple like a yoga class will help you relax and vent some excess engery/tension, and help you to feel less like a pressure cooker ready to explode.
