If so, is it legit? Anyone tried it? Know how it works? I don't need exact details, or anything. If it's and works, I'll buy the book, but I don't want to shell out $35 and then find out that it doesn't do me any good.

It is absolutely ridiculous. It doesn't make sense it is complete bull. It pisses me off to no end that a guy like that could write a book and swindle so many people out of their money. Especially since so many people don't know about the physiology of the human body and therefore don't know that everything he says is bull. People are honestly trying to lose weight and he is selling crap.

In my Human Nutrition and Health class, my professor, a Registered Dietitian actually brought the book in to make fun of it. Reading out the more absurd of his ideas about losing weight which have no scientific backing at all. You're better off with almost any other book.

I mean come on the guy says that supermarkets and food companies are deliberately making us fat so we buy more food. His next book will probably be about how space aliens are destroying our ozone layer to slowly destroy our planet.

I do not know about that book, but it's quite likely that if he wrote anything really enlightening and helpful, it would've been all over the news and people wouldn't be able to stop talking about it.

What it probably is, is either common sense (eat right and exercise, which many of us here 'preach') or some twist on an old diet method that isn't anything new or special and doesn't work any better than the tried and true, eat right and exercise.

There are no magic bullets, shortcuts, or gimmicks that last long term. Save your $35.

don't buy it. if you really want to read it, borrow it from the library. everything I've heard says he's a scam artist. the diet is hard to stay on and isn't worth the trouble.
