I gave birth 6 months ago, and at delivery I weighted180 and I'm 5"8. Now I'm 155 and haven't lost a pound the last 3 months or so! I cannot go on a strick diet or try weight loss pills or shakes because I am breastfeeding.I would like to get back to 135 or 140 to be happy, but exercise and eat good is just discouraging me. Any helpful tips or special exercises would be gratefully accepted!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Put the baby in a stroller and get out and walk - the baby enjoys it, and it gets you moving. Eat fruits and drink Iced tea - decaf since you're nursing - and do floor exercises with the baby. Again, that's something the baby will love, and you can strengthen your back, tummy and leg muscles. You're doing great, don't give up - you'll get there!

It takes 9 months to gain the weight and it will take 9 to 12 months to loose the weight. Just be patient I think you've done a great job so far.
