Sadly, not enough. Kanndinsky was a pioneer artist whose artistic vision launched a thousand imatators. Many other artists' works have sold for a great deal more while these artists were less innovative, less talented.
However, here are some auction prices that might give you a better idea of his market value:
These were watercolors. Not bad prices for watercolors:

Joe B's answer may well be right. *Gnomus* was apparently painted as the stage set for a performance of Mussorgsky's suite *Pictures at an Exhibition*. Familiar as the music is, via Ravel or ELP, I'd never known that the paintings in question were all by one artist, Viktor Hartmann (1834-73). The exhibition was a posthumous retrospective that inspired Modest Mussorgsky, a friend of VH's. Hartmann's "Gnomus" was a design for a wooden nutcracker shaped like "a little gnome walking awkwardly on deformed legs". I can't see that in WK's design, but then I haven't been able to find the original online anywhere. The 2nd link below purports to show one, near the bottom, but since it's a lot like a chicken, nothing like a gnome, and nothing like a nutcracker, I doubt it. The 1st link has quite a bit about Hartmann and Mussorgsky in the course of a discussion of another artist inspired by MM's music, Philip Trusttum. There's more about WK's stage sets at the 3rd link.
