What kind of hair are you talking about? Peach fuzz, or the dark coarse kind?
Fuzzy hair can be expected anywhere on the body except for the palms of your hands and bottoms of feet.
If you're finding coarse, dark hair on your stomach and back at that age could possibly mean a hormonal imbalance. Since your mom won't let you shave, I suggest you ask her to make an appointment with your doctor to make sure your body is maturing normally.
If it turns out that the doctor feels that your hair growth is normal, you can try lightening the hair on your body. A daily treatment of swabbing a cotton-ball wet with hydrogen peroxide will lighten the hair over the course of a few days. Just be sure to use a moisturizer afterwards so the peroxide doesn't dry your skin out.

There's nothing really that you can do if you are not allowed to wax or shave. Ask your mom if she will let you use a depilatory like Nair; it removes the unwanted hair by disolving it at the surface of the hair follicle using chemicals and doesn't involve blades or any pain at all. It's easy to use.

Other than that, just don't worry about it. I'm assuming you're a girl, and so at your age you are right in the middle of puberty, a time when new hair growth is extremely normal. You aren't the only one, trust me. It probably only seems like a lot of hair because you are used to having the fine baby hairs you were born with. You will get used to them, or if after a while you still do not like them, you will eventually be old enough to use traditional hair removal methods like the ones you mentioned. Good luck!

Hairs on body is sign of beauty and good nature personalities. Hairs on body has many natural benefits too. Also good for health. You are too young. These soft hairs are harmless. Avoid shaving it. It may make your skin and hairs hard. So just let it as it is now. Later may be it get reduce naturally. Ask me again when you reach twenty plus of age. Remember you are special.
I remeber when I was born, I was full of hairs. On the face, on the head, on the back and almost everywhere. I was hairy infant or child. With passage of time, hairs were gone naturally. So no need to get worried but rather you should feel proud.

Don't worry, babe, everyone has hair everywhere. Some people have more then others and it is nothing to be ashamed about. I started shaving my legs and underarms when I was 12. Then I moved onto more and more area's. Now, I shave everything! Sit down and talk to your mom, I know that she'd understand. Let her know how much it is bothering you. I hate body hair, too. Good luck and don't stress so much about it!!

in my past years as a 13 y.o.i learned that when ppl call u a monkey *tsk*tsk* it just makes it worseso u no what i do.... get ur eye brows don, leave ur arm hair cuz everyone has it, shave urlegs with veet and for ur upper and lower back use the nair spray. it instantly dissolves the hair so it is gone... just dont over use it cuz it hurts then! if ur mom doesnt let u then try bleaching it... still doesnt work then have "the talk" with ur mo mcuz its not fair that u have to face middle school that is more superficial and harder than ever like this?!!?!?!??! tell her u need ur independence and that u'll be willing to pay for it and or earn it!

Yes... it's completely normal.. especially for your age. My mom didn't let me start shaving until I was 14!
AND STARTING HIGHSCHOOL! =S

But don't EVER shave anywhere else other than your legs and arm pits... if you shave anywhere else the hair will grow back thicker and blacker....

EVERYONE has very fine hair ALL over their bodies... it's totally normal... and not noticable....

So no... you aren't a hairy freak (or a monkey) =]

Try using a cream hair bleach. It won't take that hair away, but it will definately make it appear less noticeable.Try Sally Hansen brand, you can get it for about $5 a box, and that will last you at least a few times. Hope this helps!

hm. well, by the time i was 12, i was already shaving my pubic area, so i didn't rly have that type of problem...
but it's totally normal to be hairy. i have hair on my tummy && even a little on my breasts. i even know girls that shave their toes! if they hairs are tiny && black, just pluck them. it doesn't count as shaving. :]
everyone has hair on their back; if you ever see a girl in one of your classes sitting w/ the back of her shirt riding up - just look, you can see little hairs. it sounds strange, but it's one way to see that you're not alone.
you could try googling some home remedies for shaveless/waxless hair removal, but isn't your mom not wanting you to get rid of the hair at all?
or, i know it sucks to hear, but you're only 12 - you have a few years before you have to worry about being flawless; your mom just doesn't want you to grow up yet. enjoy being a kid. i wish i was one again. ;]

Maybe it just runs in the family. Talk to your mom about it. Tell her that you're growing up and you're starting to care more about your appearance and that you might need to shave/wax soon. Be mature about it and just maybe she'll let you soon!

It depends if the hair is fine, then we all have it and it is normal. Talk to your mom and let her know how much it bothers you and then come to an agreement together. Maybe asking your doctor the safest way is the best idea.
