Christians think, "I exist and that's too much of a coincidence for there not to be a god," but then they speculate way too far and come up with these really impractical superstitions. They jump from, "There must be a creator," to:

Oh...I must be immortal!
I'm not really made of matter because I have a soul that defies the laws of physics!
God wants me to live in absolute bliss!
God punishes us for sin even though we're just ants to Him
All Christians have the Force and when you call upon the Force good things will come.

"Why do Christians always hide behind deist logic but cannot answer for their more extravagant beliefs? "
I suppose that some Christians do. They do a lot of things.

"Christians think, "I exist and that's too much of a coincidence for there not to be a god," "
I have heard that too.

"but then they speculate way too far and come up with these really impractical superstitions. They jump from, "There must be a creator," to:

Oh...I must be immortal!"
You said Christians. And Christians derive what they believe from the Bible. And the Bible says that we will live forever. So I don't find that such a stretch. EVERYONE lives forever. It's just that there are basically two places where we will live. Either with God, or without God.

"I'm not really made of matter because I have a soul that defies the laws of physics!"
I have never in all my 20 years of being a Christian, heard any Christian deny being made of matter. Sounds like you found yourself a nut.

"God wants me to live in absolute bliss!"
I have heard some say things that were similar. Don't worry, they will be challenged in the not too distant future. I don't even think that is scriptural. God tries us as we live here on Earth, to make into something before we get to him.

"God punishes us for sin even though we're just ants to Him"
So that would mean that the last statement was bunk. If God punishes us, we are not in bliss!

"All Christians have the Force and when you call upon the Force good things will come."
Oh, I see. A sort of Star Warsian kind of analogy. I think taht it is important for a Christian to look to the scriptures. And what that tells me is; God enters all things to work His good. Note: "His good."

There is something that you are missing here, and that is the personal relationship that most religious people have with God, or whatever you want to call it. Religious people have experiences in their life that you cannot understand if you do not have those same experiences. It does not even matter if they are wrong. If you experience something and it has a profound impact on your life, then that becomes a part of who you are. Take love, for a non-religious example. You experience that, but is it really anything other than chemical and electrical reactions in your brain? Perhaps. Perhaps not, but to many people love is as real as a cookie. That said, many, many religious people do not believe all the things you list here. You are stereotyping to make your point. Ultimately, you obviously do not really have a full understanding fo religion, and your bias against it is causing your perception of religion to be warped. Don't feel bad, though, everyone does it, even a lot of religious people.

Christians believe the Word of God.
Psalm 14 -The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."

Isaiah 55-6,7 Seek the Lord while he may be found,Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts;Let him return to the Lord,And he will have mercy on him; And to our God ,For He will abundantly pardon.

There are very truthful human beings in each and every faith who do attempt very not uncomplicated to respond to questions or stay they way they experience is robust in accordance to the scriptures. Jehovah's Witnesses do answer questions in step with scripture era and that they face on a each and every day foundation rounds and rounds of complaint and outright anger or hostility. all of us comprehend that those individuals are basically gratifying the scripture. We answer questions no count how confusing they could be. a query for some human beings will possibly not look as though it became into confusing to a pair yet they are actually not giving the properly suited answer. to a pair case in point, all it fairly is mandatory for salvation is the recognition of Jesus Christ as their savior. yet, what does that propose? attractiveness of him potential obeying his commandments and additionally the commandments of his Father first and perfect. you will never see a JW say that each and one and all which is mandatory is to settle for Jesus as their savior, they'll upload greater to it than that. i assume what I propose to declare is they take that greater advantageous attempt. they'll continuously bypass the greater advantageous mile to worship the single and basically real God, Jehovah God Almighty.

You have no idea what I think. You probably don't have any idea what most Christians think either.

The 'Force' is with us and the 'Force' is God.

My personal beliefs can be extravagant if I want them to be, what's it to you?

I got a big big big God and he is mighty mighty!

Christians do not believe those first two and you're confusing Christianity and Star Wars on that last one.
