Put the eggs in a pot of cold water. Bring the pot to a full boil. Turn off the heat and let stand for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes run the cooked eggs under cold water to keep the yolks from turning dark.

You don't boil eggs.. You bring the eggs to the boiling point then turn off, remove from heat and cover. There are done after 15-20 minutes.
This technique makes "pretty" eggs. Boiling them may leave the yolks green on the outside and the white will be rubbery.

Place the eggs in a pan with cold water over high heat. When they start to boil, turn heat down to med and boil for ten minutes. Then stick the pan in the sink and add cold water to the hot water. Keep water running til the water in the pan is cold. Let eggs sit in cold water for about 10 minutes. That's all there is to it! Good luck!

the same amount of time it takes to boil 1 egg
from the time the water starts to boil, about 3-5 minutes.
And leave GOD out of this ok?
ok I guess I was wrong about 3-5 minutes. it's more like 5 minutes boiling, and then leave it in that water for another 5 minutes covered.
