My mother dreamed that I (her son) was raking withered leaves at my grandmothers. She was there too, and I was younger.

The same night my grandmother dreamed she was in a coffin pit. She struggled to climb out and made it, yet she saw me crying (again younger) in the pit after she'd climbed out. I tried to reach for her hand, and then she woke up.

Also my mother dreamed that my grandmother had bought a black coat. Before my grannies mum died, she dreamed she had bought a black headscarf.

Does it mean I might die soon? How would you interpret these dreams?

Thanks a lot

It doesnt mean you are going to die.
It means that you are out of reach. They see you as falling behind them. It could be an inclination to a subconcious idea that they have about you, are you disabled? maybe PDD, ADD... the idea is that you are unable to be helped. Not that you are dying.

If it were any indication of death it would be your grandmoms.
She is the one with the withered leaves. She was the one crawling out of the grave leaving you behind, which in turn might have persuaded her back into the grave. You must have a relationship with your grandmother which has meaning to you, and perhaps she knows she is going to die eventually, and in mulling over the thought, wonders about your future that she wont see. Her dream may have stemmed from such thought.
If anything take this as an opportunity to spend some time with your grandmother while you can. And dont worry if she is dying or not. We all go some time and never really know when. As we get older we just start to expect it more and more. Grandparents tend to need help around the house and appriciate the excuse for you to keep coming around.

Dreams could always mean a lot of things. You cannot take them so literally. Obviously the black coat and the grave symbolize that you will be leaving them, but the fact that in the dreams you are younger is very important. Not knowing your relationship with your mom or grandmother makes it hard. Maybe you just made a significant accomplishment in your life... (accepted to a college, getting married, a new job) and the two ladies in your life feel like you are no longer their little boy anymore. In the same way... maybe you did something to disappoint them, and again they feel like they are loosing you. There are many different ways to look at it, don't be so pessimistic!!!

You raking leaves represent to your mother the daily work that has to be done.

You being in the coffin pit represents to your grandmother that you are part of the struggles she goes through on an ongoing basis.

Seems you're a lot of work for these women!

Dreaming about black clothing may mean that your mom and grandmother fear that someone may not be around for much longer. It's not portentious of death.

But no, it doesn't mean that you're going to die. Enjoy life!

NO. You are not going to die soon.

Re: your mother's dream,
You raking leaves means that someday you will marry a very, very beautiful woman.

Re: Granny's dream,
Old people have a lot of anxiety about dying and they get very superstitious, so they freak themselves out with dreams about coffins, graves, and black clothes (mourning clothes).

There's definitely a change in the future of your family. But rather than focusing on your grandmother, I think a lot of the focus is on you.

Every one dies.. but not soon

raking withered leaves = doing chores, task needed, seek support

struggle to come out of coffin pit and made it = rejection to seek support

black coat, black headscarf = reminder of things we may not need.
