Religeon teaches us not to lie, yes, it's good but sometimes I just have to why? Even in the Bible in some instances Christ denied who He was.

He didn't really lie but in some instances he failed to answer all their questions. Like when they asked him if he was going to Jarusalem. He indicated he wasn't but then he did.
We don't have to tell people everything unless it is important.
We shouldn't lie but sometimes we do because we are not perfect but I am working on being better at telling the truth.
But it is really hard, especially when I am going to get in trouble.

No one ever has to lie. They simply choose to lie for some reason. After all, no one is holding a gun to their head and making them lie.

But our society is set up in such a way that life is often easier, our finances are better and we get better service if we lie.

If a waitress feels bad and is in a bad mood accordingly, if she really told you what she thought of you she would not get a tip so she smiles and goes through the motions of making you think what a joy it is to serve you so she will get the biggest tip possible.

A bill collector calls and people will pretend to be someone else so they don't have to deal with demands for money they don't have.

Then we see those we have voted into public office and those in charge of major corporations, all of whom earn substantially better salaries than we do and we watch them lie everything they turn around and usually end up even richer because of it,

And of course the list goes on and on and on. It's sad but true that too often we are punished for telling the true so it's no wonder people lie.

Well sometimes we lie to make a story or something that just happened to us more interesting. Are brains tell us that this story is too boring, don't tell it,but you want to tell it so you end up adding on things that make the story more interesting. But whenever we lie we might also be trying to get out of something that we have done that is going to get us in trouble. But that doesn't mean that we have to lie. Next time u r going to lie tell yourself that these people should like me for who i really am,or if i tell this lie i will get in even more trouble which you hopefully don't want to get into in the first place.

Christ never denied who He was. He warned His disciples not to say anything because there was a certain timing in which the Father wanted things done. He was supposed to reveal who He was at a leter date. but He never denied who He was

you never HAVE TO tell a lie. you choose to. whether out of fear, out of stupidity, out of laziness, or just mis-evaluation, you always have the option of the truth, or not saying anything at all. but be careful with the latter: silence is often denial. so like if someone says "who here's Christian?" and you say nothing, you've technically denied Christ there.

some things, it's better to rephrase. like honestly, if someone asks you if they are ugly, and they're your friend, you will say "no". you're not lying (unless you actually think they look horrendous), you're stating that you're not totally unattractive, just not very attractive, but in a subtle way.

There are times when it is the better course of action to lie to somebody for there good or the good of someone else. Lying is not the bad part it is only if the lye is meant to hurt or for personal gain it is wrong

That's why it is not good to just blindly follow lists, especially ancient lists of rules created by superstitious people.

Use your brain. Sure, lying is generally not a good thing to do. It really breaks down trust between people. However, it is not always wrong. If someone came to my house waving a gun and asked if my wife was home, I would lie.

When you want no one to know the real you. When you want to protect yourself or boost your ego. When you want to claim what you are not. When you want to feel you have to belong or when you want to have no association with someone in the hot seat.
The religions started with a great lie and liers have believed in their own lies which some how make us the deceived nations.

Jesus NEVER denied who He was. We never HAVE to lie. Sometimes we think it's easier to lie than to tell the truth. But you never HAVE to lie. You can always tell the truth. God bless!
