We can not convert people to become Christian. It is the job of the Holy Spirit. I know Jesus said "Go and make disciples, preaching the gospel to all the nations." So why are we believing we have some quota to meet and that if someone hasn't turned their heart to God that we can say or do anything to make that happen? Simply we are to preach the gospel (plant the seed) and in believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will take over from there. "Follow me". Not little ol' me but follow Jesus's example. We are to preach the gospel with "love". Not all Christians are, but my goodness some of us are behaving VERY badly. We know the commandments, we know who our Father is and what He alone has done for us. My heart is burdened not by the fact that we struggle with sin but we lay in it. We have been saved by grace, not of works, lest any man should boast. Do your good deeds before man that he may see and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Let your light shine. God bless!!

14because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
We should be led by the Holy Spirit when we speak & to whom we speak to. The Holy Spirit knows what we should say & fills our mouth with His Words bc He knows what this person needs to hear.

Right. Good for you.
I determined that a singular male creation deity is the opposite of what we can experience. Therefore, to me, the idea is unnatural and no one is ever going to change my mind.
Many Christians should not spend the energy and/or time trying to change my mind. I have the information-it just doesn't reflect the world I see around me.
If I lived 500 or so years ago and was threatened with all kinds of horrendous tortures (tortures that make shooting a person with a gun seem humane), I probably would have said whatever they wanted to hear
But, I also realize some people find comfort in their interpretation, even if it means denying some other part of the Bible. Uultimately, I try not to let it bother me b/c I know that, at the end of the day, what you say/believe will not affect me.

Well see,I believe according to the Bible, that the only way to the Father is though Jesus, and the only way to Jesus is if the Father calls you. So we can't just walk up to someone and expect them to convert. They first must be called. This is why sometimes you'll be just like in the mall or something and all the sudden feel like you should witness to someone. God was using The Holy Spirit to tell you they had been called. God Bless you!

Actually it's not proselytizing, but rather admonishing Christians that their witness has to be genuine and of good will and not with the aim of necessarily getting someone else to become what they are.
I think you're right, dear. "Preaching" the gospel can sometimes just be about being a good person and letting other see your example. One time I was at a restuarant with some of my brothers in my community. Though we had on regular clothes, the owner asked if we were missionaries because he said he noticed we were a bunch of guys and we weren't cursing.

AMEN sister!
We are to preach at all times and when absolutely necessary, to use words.
In other words, bashing others, and getting angry is the exact OPPOSITE thing that we are supposed to be doing!
Sure we all make mistakes! Lets try to be better EXAMPLES of the life of Jesus first.
I mainly come here to dispel falsehoods about my faith, and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
Good Luck and God Bless!

A messianic Jew is a Jew that believes that Jesus is the Messiah. Christians and Messianic Jews consider that Jesus is the Messiah. They are Jews. The factor of view of the anti Messianice Jews is first-rate summed up by way of Mark JPAS while he mentioned "it's appropriate to combo a few measure of international religious factors with Judaism. The one exception is Christianity, that's seemed to be incompatible with any sort of Jewishness. This is the double average that's carried out to Christianity although Jesus is regarded the Jewish Messiah in Christianity. Messianic Jews are checked out with even better disdain. Why? its a canopy for there possess deviations from Judaism. Some Jews have got to hold a connection to Jewish loved ones given that they've deviated such a lot from conventional Judaism that many Orthodox query their Jewishness. They want discover a few strategy to distract awareness given that of there deviation from the Torah. This is completed by way of pointing their finger at others to direct awareness clear of their possess movements. You can not deliver your self a identify and count on that it makes you some thing. This is the argument that has been used in opposition to Jews that make a decision that Jesus is the Messiah. We are advised that the mere notion of yet another nature of God instantly invalidated a Jews Jewishness. At the equal time Jews that come to be atheists, pantheists or quit training any detail in their faith we're advised are nonetheless Jews. They say that you'll consider in some thing however Jesus. Jews name conversion "becoming a member of the tribe". Things that could under no circumstances fly in Orthodox or for that subject Messianic Judaism may also be determined within the Reform and Reconstructionist pursuits. A well illustration of it is a earlier query requested right here. The individual asking worshiped the God Ferris however didn't consider in him or the Jewish God. The consciousness of the query was once" ...could you PERSONALLY suppose secure welcoming me no longer simply as a fellow congregant at your Synagogue, however as a member of the Tribe?" (so he was once evidently asking approximately changing to Judaism). The reaction was once "Reform Judaism covers a extensive swath of ideals and practices and I am definite you are going to be utterly permitted. ... I individually could take delivery of you complete heartily as a fellow Jew." So a few Jews will take delivery of a wide variety of deviations from the Torah however no longer notion in "Jesus". Let's no longer overlook the Reform motion desired to difference the sabbath to Sunday to be extra like Christianity. Most Messianic Jews are Torah observant but you'll come to be an atheist, quit training their religion, come to be a Buddhist, become a member of a Unitarian Church and nonetheless be a Jew within the eyes of Reform/Reconstructionist Jews. Most Orthodox while requested approximately different Jews will say they do not know what non Orthodox Jews are. The equal applies to the opposite sects. Speaking of sects Jews will inform you there aren't any sects however its no longer precise. Rabbinical Jews comply with an information in their religion that was once situated one million,900 years in the past. They have their possess canon of Scripture. There also are non Rabbinical Jews such because the Ethiopian Jews that follows the sample of the Christian Old Testament and they've many further books that they bear in mind to be scripture. A organization known as the Karaites is the reverse of the Ethiopian and handiest consider within the five Books of Moses. Rabbinical Jews name Karaites "a sect of Judaism". You can goggle it and spot for your self. Don't permit anybody inform you that there aren't any sects in Judaism. They say the the lessons of Jesus are very one-of-a-kind from Judaism. They additionally declare that Jesus taught not anything new from the rabbis earlier than him. Then they we inform you that there have been no rabbis till 100 years after the time of Jesus. Its all approximately successful the argument to them no longer approximately what is precise. The situation isn't variations however similarities. You will have to recognise ALL the writers of the Christian Bible had been Jews however one. Much of our Scriptures are shared. The monstrous majority of early believers in Jesus had been Jews. So whilst you pay attention the designated reverse you have got to preserve that during brain. A Jew can consider in Jesus and nonetheless be a Jew. Edit: those who make individual accusations will have to incorporate hyperlinks or close up.

You are so right.
Some Christians really give us a bad name.
They say and do things Jesus would never say or do.
We are all sinners, Christians realized we needed a Savior.

Sorry, but there is no real difference between trying to "plant a seed" and trying to convert people. It's all still a matter of trying to sway people to consider your beliefs valid. No "Holy Spirit" has anything to do with it.
