That would all depend on where you got the dog, what kind of breeder it was and if it was a back yard breeder or not. I would expect for pet quality to pay around 400 to 500 and for show anywhere around 1000.00 to 1200.00. make sure if you are paying more then the pet quality price that they have hip certifications and and a CFA Certificate (hips) for mom and dad and ask if the eyes have been checked Ask to see the health certificates they got before the breed took place. Good luck

I've had 3 boxers they are high energy dogs and need alot of exercise. If your not crate training you need to this helps alot with potty training dogs don't go where they sleep.Puppies need to be fed in 3 meals and then the food and water is taken away lots of food and water lots of poop and pee.Take the puppy out after eating, playing and sleeping I don't come in till they go no matter how long that takes.A crate is good for dogs it's like a den they feel safe in it and learn to love it,being the boxer will be a large dog most crates come with a divider you put in now to give him only enough room to turn around so he learns the no pee and poop thing.Puppies should not have full run of the house just an area like the kitchen or laundry room with on carpet blocked off and pee pee pads down all over the floor it potty trained.A great book is puppies for dummies you can get it pretty cheap on amazon.Did all this stuff w/all of my boxers and just a few months ago w/my Springer puppy good luck boxers are a joy!!!

I have two 9 month old boxers pups and we paid approx 600 each. These both were a full registration from the AKC. This is from a reputable breeder with references and what not. DO NOT purchase a puppy from a pet shop, they are usually from puppy mills and charge upwards of 2-4 times that price and you just do not know what you are going to get health wise. GOOD LUCK boxers are great dogs but make sure you have the time and ENERGY for them :)

Amber, the price will depend on whether the pup can be registered. If it can't, $50 to $100 is plenty.

If the pup can be registered, then it depends on the bloodlines and any dog-show winners in its background.
A pup registerable but no winners, $ 200 to $300, if it has a mother winner, another $200 to $300, if it has a father winner, another $300 to $400, and if BOTH mother and father are winners, $ 2500 and up.

If you just looking for a pet, go to the dog pound and get a friendly, alert, healthy pup.

I have a 7mo old boxer and we paid $650 for him. He is AKC registerd, tails, dews, and first shots done. I found him in a local paper, but saw the parents and was able to assess the situation. I think price really varies on a lot of the factors i mentioned above.

Don't get one at a pet store. They are often unhealthy, and trememndously overpriced!

That depends on the breeding what's the background, have teh parents been genetically tested for problems of boxers, have teh tail and dew claws been done. have tehy been to thevets and come with a health guarantee. are they registered??
This all goes into the price.
Are you looking at pet shop( hope not) or a breeder.
have yuo checked around??
