I've never been with the crowd. *shrugs*

I don't generally go with the crowd. I've tried that and it just doesn't seem to work well for me. I seem to do better on my own. I have had to draw lines at certain points. Sometimes that can be lonely but in some cases it's for the best.

I usually do my own thing, and sometimes that happens to be what the crowd is doing, and a lot of times not!

I definitely draw the line when it comes to moral issues. As the Bible says, do not go after the majority to do wrong.

I used to go with the crowd on certain things. But, then I realized that some of those things were displeasing to God. Now I do not do what the rest of the others are doing, and I feel good.

if the crowd is doing something that I think is right
then I go w/ it, if what they are doing is wrong then
I'm out of the crowd

I have even been made fun of when I was a kid for not doing what the crowd did & my own cousin was in that crowd !

The crowd consists of a bunch of dumb-azzes, so I draw the line and use my own critical thinking skills.

I do the right thing. Sometimes that means I go with the crowd; at other times I swim against the current. Keeping a clear conscience and pure heart makes me sleep reaaally well at night! :)

ps The crowd's opinion matters less and less as you get older....

I think we all fall into "going with the crowd" as you put it, at least in certain parts of your life. I have a Bible that draws the lines for me. I overstep them, and I receive correction.

I've pretty much always gone against the mainstream. I NEVER wanted to be part of the "in" crowd they all seemed like a bunch of preppy, spoiled, snobs. I am very good at adapting to my surroundings but I will not conform anyone else's ideals

Always draw the line, people will have you doing things that oppose everything that you believe in if you are not careful. American culture is in my opinion in a slump and could possibly be in decline in the next several years if people dont become more responsible...
