In the book of Revelations, the last book of the Bible, many nations are mentioned IE: 200,000,000 man army, (china) The bear from the north (Russa) Babaloyn (Iraq) these nations gather for a final assult on Isreal, At this time America as we know it would stand with Isreal, but in the final book of the Bible America is not mentioned. As a christian, I beleave that the US, must either not be able to be an issue, or that our great nation will sink to such a degree of hopelessness that we can not help in the end times. Ether way, they all fail and God steps in and delivers Israel from the ones who try to destroy them. Any suggestions on what may happen to us the US, that we would not be able or unwilling to assist our friends?

Russia is not the great bear, and China is not in the Bible and you will not find America (as an individual nation) in the Bible. Sorry to tell you but this is very poor exegesis of scripture.

The book of Revelation in It's most depth takes into consideration the situations which have already, and have yet to take place in the future. Chapter 12 for instance...

1st third of the Chapter remembers Mary, Joesph, and Jesus' 3&1/2 year "Escape" (or "fleeing out") into the wilderness of Egypt from Harod.

2nd third of the Chapter recalls Satan's fall from Grace as well as that fact that 1/3 of the angels fell with him.

3rd third of the Chapter speaks of the coming prophecied "Escape" (fleeing out") of the "Woman" or Church into "Their Place" in the wilderness, where "They are nourished 3&1/2 years from the face of the serpant..."

Well, I don't know the exact answer to this. It is definitely a debated topic. But, it is not because America "wasn't discovered." The Revelation was given to John by Jesus Christ. He was led around by angels. Don't you think the One that knows all things past and present would know that America would come into existence?

In your search for answers, you can knock the "undiscovered" deal out. ;)

The book of Revelation is about historical Rome and the persecution of a few groups of early Christians. Anyone taking this any other way is reading it out of context and that's sad.

Don't want you to miss it. Read Rev. Chapter 13.

For partial beginning hints type in "Revelation 13 America" on a Yahoo search.

Maybe it's because the people of that time didn't even know the American continents existed. (Keeping this on a purely intellectual level; don't want it to turn into a religious argument.)
