A Cornish Rex is wild & a little freaky to boot. The largest breed is probably a Maine Coon cat. Very sweet.

Go grab the June issue of Cat Fancy magazine. Their feature is on the Savannah breed. It is actually bred with the African Serval and (usually) a Bengal. They are usually crossed with more breeds by the time they become pets, due in part to the fact that the first five generations of males are sterile. They look gorgeous, and there are A LOT of breeders.

Maine Coon Cats look and ACT very much like wild cats, which is not to say that they are vicious, but they have little quirks that I've also seen in bobcats, like playing in water and "barking" to sound an alarm. They also get HUGE by domesticated cat standards, with heavy bone, so that further enhances the wild look.

Two other breeds that can have a wild look about them are the Pixie-Bob, bred to look like a bobcat, and the American Bobtail, though the Bobtail also can be of wider array of colors and patterns that all don't look very wild at all.

I don't think you should be breed specific, any house cat can make a wonderful addition to your family if it is trained right. Any "Tabby" will have a wild look and there are so many more cats that are not purebred that have what you want. Just talk to anyone who has cats, they will give you ideas as to where to find the "kitty" of your dreams. The local rescue is a good place to start, and Please for the best pet, have your pet spayed or neutered.

Begal is as wild looking as you can get and still be safe. Go to the cats home or RSPCA and see if anything takes your fancy. I have a black and white short hair who has the most evil face you can imagine, but so cute as well.
