Well. I'm really active and stuff, I suppose. Not really at all an old age, 14. I'm a regular athlete, I can do all kinds of things. :]
But the one thing, being able to be very very flexible. I have been stretching a lot and a lot lately, I play tennis, so I stretch to warm up and after too. Being able to do the splits and high kicks, etc. have just all of a sudden caught my interest.
How would I be able to do that stuff? Being very flexible and all..
And, no. I live in a very busy household, yoga? No way.

Would there also be any kind of martial arts that could help with flexibility?

I also really want to try the thing where when you stand, you curl back into somewhat an arc thing and then reach the ground with your hands. Kinda like this.. [PERSON STANDING]->> |
[STEP2:THE CURL BACK, IMAGINE IT BEING HORIZONTAL]->> (

Hm. I also have a trampoline.
But, the point--how could I improve my flexibility in 4 WEEKS OR LESS?

Why "no way" to yoga? That is probably the best activity to gain flexibility that there is...as well as calming/grounding, and good for firming and toning muscles. The curling backwards and putting your hands on the ground is a yoga position (backbend). It can be done from standing, or lying on the ground and raising oneself up into that position with just feel and hands on the ground, head hanging down facing away from you.

To make your body flexible, you've got to stretch those muscles...more than just typical warm-up before exercise stretches.

Do a search online for flexibility and see what you find.

Getting your flexibility point up isn't too tricky. basically take a seat on the floor, straddle your legs, positioned a e book on the floor (or watch television) and stretch forward. there are relatively some uncomplicated the type to stretch incorrectly, so make certain you seek for that form of stuff on line in the past you do something too extreme. It shouldn't harm too badly, so do no longer in basic terms manage a large type of soreness attempting to stretch further. In any place, stretch further and extra until it hurts. There must be a minor soreness as your muscle mass are being labored relatively previous their standard point, inspite of the shown fact that it is going to no longer harm badly... if it does, you went too a techniques and you should pull returned a sprint. strengthen a habitual and stick to it on a regular basis for a pair of month, then evaluate your progression. in case you prepare progression, stick to the habitual and in step with probability step it up a notch or 2. If no longer, take a verify out what isn't working and are available returned and ask approximately it returned.

Well...I am about the least flexible person in the world. But I started doing the pilates videos and slowly I was more flexible. When I started I couldn't touch my feet while sitting and stretching and now it's easy. I am trying to master the splitts now.

Stretch every day. Don't miss a day, just keep stretching. Relax when you do it too...it will work. It worked for me!
