I worship God because I love Him. I recognize my life as a gift from God. He has been faithful to me. I have felt His presence in my life. For me the afterlife is simply a bonus to the wonderful life I am able to live today because of Him.

It involves adherence to a religious value system and the beief that it is divinely inspired and therefore correct. No religion that I know of has any fiery lake or burning hell of brimstone, not Hinduism or Budhism or Judaism or Islam or Shinto - only Christianity, the main bodies of which have long since discarded the concept. For them,at this point in time, Heaven and hell would refer to a spiritual condition, not to a literal environment. Only fundamentalists (about 4% of Christians) subscribe to any fire & brimstone mythology - so I don't think most Christians - and certainly not most Buddhists,Hindus,Shintos, etc. - are motivated by a fundamentalist belief system. They serve the Supreme being because they believe it is right. I'm Catholic and I have never once heard any talk of fire and brimstone from the pulpit except for the several occassions on which I have attended evangelical services. Fear of a punitive afterlife is therefore not the dominant motive in worship of a supreme being.

God loves humans more than a mother loves her child. That is the speech of prophet Mohammad. So we have to love God
more than anybody.Ä°f you consider the differents between humans and animals you schould thank God.Ä°f you read Koran sura Rahman you will understand much more about creation of God.You eat daily 3 times and sleep every night
at least 8 hours and wisit toilett in a day several times but for worshipping you dont need to do unless you wish to do.Ä° mean there is no forcing to you for to worship. You dont get hungry or tired if you dont worship to God.Did you ever think why God created us like that?

Well, you know to tell you the truth I couldn't agree with you more. I am 100% a Christian, and I will explain to you why- but before I do I do want to state that I agree, now a days it seems like the love for God isn't as selfless as people make it believe, it seems like people only worship him because they want something out of him. In my case, the reason I serve God is because in all my life he has never led me astray. I have faced hardships and many wrong turns in my course of life- and everytime I have seeked God's guidance, he has never wronged me. So even if being saved wasn't offered as your "price" for serving him, I'm pretty sure I'd still do it.

No.
It is true that a healthy fear of hell may lead some people to religion, but the same source that tells us about hell in the first place, also tells us that it was never intended for mankind. Any people who end up there go voluntarily.
Hell is not something I worry about because the bible makes it clear that accepting God's plan is the way out. I find it more useful to focus on the wonderful grace of God and His very real involvement in everything I do each day.

I serve God because of the feeling I have on a regular basis that only existed from the moment I decided to accept jesus Christ as my personal savior. Noting else will replace it.
I now live a life that is bigger than me, serving God and being served by God. Everything I am I owe to God.
Remember, He loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you.

If God pulled you out of a life that consisted of heavy use of drugs and alcohol, strong lust after women, hatred of a father,
selfishness, lying and cheating and stealing, attempted suicide and more what do you think your motive would be for serving Him?
He did all that for me, and I love Him for it.
I will not lie and say that I don't think of what it would be like to spend eternity in Hell, but I have no fear of that because I am trusting that God didn't save me as a joke and some day He will laugh at me for believing in His mercy. He is Perfect and cannot lie. Therefore my confidence in Him gives me total peace and rest in this life and assurance of eternal life with Him in a place of absolute peace and joy.
I believe this should answer your question safisfactorily.

I really don't give hell much thought at all. The one's who want to talk about it are the one's that are going there. Ironic.
I love God. And the reason I serve God is because he wanted me to. He calls those who he wants. God does not want everybody. So I am not surprised that there are so many people who don't believe. It's what God does is save a remnant. He does not spend time drawing other to him because he wants certain ones.

I serve the living God because He loved me when I was still a sinner. He sent His Son Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins. He has given me the gift of salvation.
He is the God of invitations. His invitation is not for a meal...it is for eternity.
If there are 100 steps between you and Him, He will take 99 of them...and asks that you only take one.
To me, eternity without God would be hell.
Peace be with you.

No, I serve Him because first I love Him and secondly because He saved my life some 20 years ago. Going to Heaven is just an added plus.
