If someone offered to help you change a flat tire, how would you (probably) feel about that?

If you don't need or want it, it's meddling, not help.

I know when I'm driving on a flat, and I know how to change one, too.

I know what you're after, but even in non-religious applications, I've often hollered out, "Stop *helping*!" in frustration.

I would first need to know my tire was flat before I could recieve help or else I would just laugh at the person offering to help me.
After that I would be thankfull if someone stopped to help me change a flat tire, especially if it was dark and raining.

If there is a car coming at you and you don't see it, and I pull you out of it's path just in time, you did not need to think you needed my help to receive it.

I would be happy if someone offered to help me with a flat tire.

While I am perfectly able to change a tyre myself, I would accept assistance gladly. If the checkout girl offers help with my packing, I always say yes.I can put groceries in bags, but it's nice to have someone else do it as well if only cos it's quicker. On an emotional level, yes u have to recognise that u need help.eg, alcoholics can't be helped unless they realise they have a problem. Hope this helps.

If you don't think you need help, then you won't receive it.

If you need help and acknowledge it, then you are open to receiving it.

How would I "feel" if someone offered to help me change the flat tire? Depends, are they offering to get dirty...or are they offering to supervise?

Just thought I'd ask :o)

Peace be with you.

If I didn't have a flat tire, and someone offered to help me change it, I'd think, "Hey, they're trying to steal my tire right under my nose!"

I'd write a book about how I was persecuted for having a flat tire while everyone else didn't have one.

And I'd refuse the help so I could be a martyr for my cause.

I'd think, hey, I don't have a flat tire!

The question is ridiculous but the comment resonates
