would it be ok for me to take the job even though im leaving, cuz there are so many things i need to get before i leave and i could really use the money. im moving out of my moms house for the first time to go away to school. even if i only worked a couple weeks that money would be very helpful in getting the things i need that my mom cant afford to get for me.

Employers put alot of time and money into training employees. And if you only plan on being there 2 weeks, you won't even get training for the job. It's unfair to the employer to do that. Plus you have alot to accomplish in the next 2 weeks, and working would take time you don't have. I understand you need the money, but how about focusing on finding a job where you will be going to school, something you can actually stick with.

It wouldn't be honest to take the job knowing that you're leaving in a couple weeks. And what would you do, give your two weeks notice on your third day there? Or just not show up at the end of the 2-1/2 weeks?

if you let them know you are leaving & they still want you to go to work then yeah...otherwise, you wouldn't get the money until after two weeks anyway probably, so what would the point in that be?

let the boss know. then see if u still get the job or not.
cuz like the other girl said, if ur putting this on for ur next resume, that might not look too good.
