Assuming both exist....for the sake of arguement. Though, these could just be self fullfilling prophecies. To test this theory, ask a bunch of questions about a friend to the cards.....without your friend knowing what the questions are. Then after you get your answers, write them down for later use. If after a time, it still happens more often than not, then perhaps its real......or really good chance. lol

But anyway, miracles and magic are the same thing. magic doesn't care how it is used. Its a tool like a gun. A gun can be used to defend yourself, or it could be used to kill somebody. Its my opinion that if gods and magic do exist, then the gods created magic....not lucifer.

Whatever certain religious extremists might reply to you, it is a fact that tarot cards are used by most psychics to help them foresee events in people's futures. They do by communicating with angels and often bringing people great comfort in so doing.

You can ascertain just how true and comforting many such predictions are by either trying it yourself or watch Channel 886 on TV.

If so being a prophet is against God, then that would seem to mean that the various documented Old Testament prophets including Moses, Isaiah, Micah, Naham, Habakkuk, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Haggai, Malachi etc. were "against God" as would be such New Testament prophets as John the Baptist and somebody mentioned also therein called Jesus Christ? As well as another quite well known Prophet who was born a little after him called Mohamed? So is it against God to try to contact the Angels to predict the future or to prophesy events? Work that one out for yourself, my friend.

The Tarot, and its interpretation, is something that has been fine tuned over many centuries to reflect the breadth of issues of the human condition. I think it's not the case that they're good at determining your specific condition, but rather that the generalities are well crafted in such a way as to render your personal interpretations of the ideas given to the cards relevant to your own situations and problems.

'course, that's just my understanding. =)

It depends on your god.

Most christians will tell you reading tarot cards is evil, demonic, satanic, etc., etc., so one would have to assume the christian god is against them. I've read the bible many times from cover to cover and I don't remember seeing tarot cards listed.

In fact, I remember quiet a bit being said about prophets, seeing vision, etc., etc., but nothing specifically about tarot cards.

Most other belief systems have no problem with them and in fact see them as a way to connect with the godhead. They are considered a tool to tap into the Universal knowledge that is a god given right to everyone.

So it just depends on what you call god.

Yes it is against God. You are playing with the devil and his hell. It is those spirits in dark high places that act behind behind those cards, oweja boards, physics, witchcraft. Or they're fakes. Read 1samuel 28 where Saul went to a medium.

Act 16:16-19 One day as we were going down to the place of prayer, we met a demon-possessed slave girl. She was a fortune-teller who earned a lot of money for her masters.
17 She followed along behind us shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved."
18 This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and spoke to the demon within her. "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her," he said. And instantly it left her.
19 Her masters' hopes of wealth were now shattered, so they grabbed Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities at the marketplace.

Mic 5:12 I will put an end to all witchcraft; there will be no more fortune-tellers to consult.

Isa 8:19 So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God?

Lev 20:6-7 "If any among the people are unfaithful by consulting and following mediums or psychics, I will turn against them and cut them off from the community.
7 So set yourselves apart to be holy, for I, the Lord, am your God.

Lev 19:31 "Do not rely on mediums and psychics, for you will be defiled by them. I, the Lord, am your God.

Deu 18:10-13 For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering.[fn1] And do not let your people practice fortune-telling or sorcery, or allow them to interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft,
11 or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.
12 Anyone who does these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you.
13 You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

Tarot cards are a joke. My friends and I used to read them. Your "predictions" are just made to fit your current circumstances and confirm wishful thinking. It's a swell little party game but nothing more.

Yes it is against God to get into things like that. It is considered sorcery which is of the devil. So be very careful of that, it isnt the cards that are telling you these things, it is the devil. Have you ever heard the phrase " all the demons look like prophets". Basically it means that demons can make something that looks fun and harmless totally go against God, and he will make people think it is ok. So just becareful.

Yes, God is opposed to dabbling in Tarot. This is included in "witchcraft" and "divination," both of which is clearly stated as wrong in the Bible.

¬Of course not! we were all born with the inate ability to perform divination, but most of us have forgotten how, or have been conditioned to believe it does not exhist. The tarot is just one of many many ways to channel and focus your divinating energy.
