You're 62 years young and venus is a naive imbecile who hasn't yet lived and knows nothing of life. I would rather you with your wealth of life experiences answer my questions than some pathetic twerp called Venus who doesn't know what they're talking about yet.

NO NO NO you are not too old. I am not too old! I am quite new at this too. I am having problems with a few bits and bobs, still trying to get that little hand to go up when I vote for a good answer but in the past couple of months I have had such a laugh. I have had some brilliant answers to questions. I have even been voted for a couple of best answers and when that happens it is exhilarating. The people on here are absolutely terrific. Keep going.
Just a thought do you remember that song 'Venus in blue jeans' - hope Venus is a bloke!

Don't count yourself out !! I know by your age that you are a person who has lived through many generations of interest and change and rock and roll and creativity. As long as I can still see the Stones rocking it out and the E-Street Band giving all generations goose pimples with their music; and Newman and Redford still making movies, etc., etc., I know that age is just a number. Never let anyone define you or restrict you. Venus suffers from a condition far worse than age--ignorance. If I have not yet enlightened you, know that there would be a void in life and on Yahoo without your contributions. Keep living youngster and have fun!

At 62 you'll know far more answers to far more questions than for example a 22 year old. Put your 62 years of knowledge to good use and let such brainless fools carry on making themselves look even more brainless and foolish.
EDIT - After reading the reply from Venus on your Kebab question it's clear she was just having a joke with you. It wasn't a serious comment.

There's no upper age limit here! You're more than welcome. I'm glad to hear from all the responses that I'll still be welcome here in 8 years when I turn 62. :)
---> I do agree with erika that venus was just joking. <----
Thank you erika for reminding us we live in a country where we we're innocent till proven guilty. She prompted me to read the comment in question also.
In fairness to venus, this was her post.
"I didn't know 62 yr olds came on the net/Yahoo Answers !!! lolol !!! :P
Keep it cool :)"
"lol" is short for "Lots of Laughs"
Also I interpreted the "keep it cool" as a compliment to you being young at heart. So don't feel offended and stay around!

There's one regular who's 69 and probably loads of others. I don't know about you but I'm here to share and maybe learn a bit. Don't apologise, stick around and have fun we're all kids at heart. Good luck m'dear

That is not too old. As a matter of fact, I think 62 is a very good age because it means that you can teach the rest of us a thing or two. One of the reasons why people are on here is for some kind of assistance, right?

I should just ignore her, how can you be too old? If anything you're more experienced and probably far better qualified to answer questions here than Venus. Some people seem to think that as soon as you hit 50 you have to retire to the armchair with your knitting or your pipe. They'll soon learn!

If your fingers can do the walking, then you're fine. Don't let one of the mindless masses tell you stupid things in such a way that you internalize it. A big portion of the people on here are here to throw insults. It's because people are largely lacking in character these days. By now, I imagine you have more things and BETTER things to say than most of the dummies out there. Keep on cranking out your answers and ignore tiny-minded loudmouths, okay?
(It makes me very angry that someone told you that.)
