Yes, very wrong. Put your self in his shoes. How would that make you feel, getting dumped by the lowest form of conversation? If your scared, use the phone at least though it would be best to do it face to face. If you do not want to go any further with him, he has the right to know, and why. Talk to him in person, don't be a coward.

That's cowardly! Speak to your bf personally, tell him the truth, wish him well for the future. A text message isn't harsh, it's mean!

It's only ok if you're afraid of this man, or if he has been totally awful to you in some other way such as he hooked up with your best friend or sister.

Otherwise you need to tell me in person. Think of how skanky and used you'd feel if he just texted you a good bye.

That would be the wrong way out. Stand in front of him and tell him that he is a good person but it just didn't work out. If you are afraid then just stop answering his calls and he will get the message

ok put yourself in his place, would you really want someone sending that to you?? that is soo harsh i cant begin to explain how harsh that is. Try texting him and saying that you need to talk, because honestly you dont want alot of drama coming out of this, and texting would cause that.

NO NO NO. Do it in person, if you are afraid of his reaction then have it in a very public place. Text messaging is to much of a crush and so no appropriate for breaking up, it's only good for "in a meeting, whats up?" "bring home milk"........

Ouch...that is a bit harsh. If you don't want to do it in person, at least call him on the phone. Texting is awfully cold...

That's wrong, rude, and harsh. It's best to talk face to face.
