how about a nylon band?
i think no one is sensitive to it and you can wash it.

Leather is good. You might also want to look for the nylon kind that look a little like grosgrain ribbon. Make sure the band has "genuine leather" or something like that stamped on it, so you're not getting a leather look-alike. Metal might also break you out, so be careful.

My best advice to you is to get a leather band on the watch. Leather is soft and it is tough enough not to break. I doubt that leather would really burn your skin like plastic would.
