"I'm here aren't I?" I wonder if we realize we do the same thing to our Lord if we only go to Church because we feel we have to.

No, not any woman knows that is a guaranteed fight. I don't ask if my husband loves me... because he is here with me. If he didn't love me, he wouldn't be here at all. Unless of course the man is downright stupid and stays anyway... then that's his problem.

As for church... it doesn't say anything in the bible about going to church. It says to gather together and you can do that in your backyard.

Pastor Pendarvis[radiomissions] says too many people "play church." Church is to worship our Father, Jesus, fellowship and teaching and learning.

I like that one...

I was thinking you were going to say "Hey, I can't hear the game over your incessant jabbering", but that would even be worse than "I'm here aren't I?"

:)

1) If a woman needs to ask her man if he loves her, that is simply pathetic on her part - and sad on his part, as he isnt doing what he should to let her KNOW she is loved.

2) Any man who responds in that manner to this question deserves whatever he gets.

3) If your God is omniscient, he wouldnt need to ask, nor would you need to worry about it as he would already KNOW what is in your "heart".

My husband and I have a joke between us, it goes, "Do you love me Honey?" "I'm here, ain't I?" and we laugh. I find my spiritual beliefs to be that humorous too.
