Your ex is a shallow loser who wants someone that upholds his impossible ideals. You are better off without him and smarter than to let some idiot like this doubt yourself. Be confident and proud of who you are. That will shine brighter than any super-model looks.

I have to say that guy sounds like a tw@t! You could be the most beautiful girl in the world on the outside but rotten and ugly on the inside. Beauty is a package, who cares what that plonker thinks. Be happy with what you are and how pretty you are. Be a good and confident person and guys will see your true beauty! At the end of the day we are all going to get old and loose are looks but we can all remain beautiful!

Please do not let your a--hole ex-boyfriend's insecure need to constantly stroke his ego worry you like this. I haven't seen a picture of you but I'm sure you're gorgeous, anyways, most people when they appraise someone else as being attractive or unattractive cannot help but include what kind of a person they are from the final equation. One of the biggest factors in this is how they treat other people and I guarantee you that 9 out of 10 people tha were unlucky enough to get to know your ex would think he looks like dogfood.

1. Date a guy who you are attracted to, not the other way around.
2. I've seen some girls who have makeup that looks pretty for the first couple of monthes, but seems to get old or just doesn't match their personality somehow.
3. Find a look you really like, that you think expresses who you are, and get a makeover.

There are all kinds of beauty, not just a single standard. Your boyfriend is an idiot with no depth of feelings. Do not let him hurt your self-image. And what about him? Is he the handsomest dude in the world? There is no set standard of handsomeness for men either. But one thing I can tell you for sure, he has an ugly soul!

well that is all in the eye of the beholder... he must see something in her. some one else would look at you and think you were gorgeous. there aint exactly levels of prettiness but just the difference in everyones opinion and taste.

It's all a matter of personal taste. What is gorgeous to you may not be what he thinks is gorgeous. Each of us has our own set of standards by which we decide.
Move on from him. He's not worth your time.

I would not worry about it. Someday a guy will come and like you for who you really are. That will be the ultimate pretty.

oh don't worry about it, because what your ex-bf thinks of pretty might be ugly to somebody else.
