I am a lady who enjoys the occasional porn... an you are not a pervert or freak!
I don't quite understand why people are so up-tight about it.
I can imagine that it is because there are many types of pornography. Some of which should be out lawed, but your everyday one on one porn or 'normal' porn should not be put down or scrutinized.
I f you feel bad or some one else is making you feel bad maybe you need to re-evaluate your friendship

The big deal are the statistics. Statistically, people who are addicted to porn become disinterested in their partners, which has a negative impact on relationships. Even sexuality splattered all over the TV as you indicate is harmful to children and adults because watchers become desensitized to the material. There is quite a bit of research on the web suggesting the type of people who are addicted to porn often have some kind of emotional or mental illnesses. Many serial murders, for instance, have pornography addictions. Personality types of individuals who are addicted to porn often have social problems, are overly ego-centric, and have distorted and poor views of women. So, there's pretty good reason to "bash" porn.

My man and I watch porn together.
The "bashing" is often from people who believe that if too much of something can be dangerous, then, ANY amount of it is bad.
I have seen husbands "addicted" to porn...to the point where it ruined their marriages. That's not good. But it doesn't mean that porn in and of itself is bad.
I do not, however, approve of young people (teenagers) watching porn simply because it does not promote a healthy (in my view) view of sex and sexuality. As adults, we can filter out the "bad" stuff we see and hear, but teenagers are little sponges and tend to believe anything so long as it's on t.v.

I believe as long as you are a mature adult watching adult porn, there is nothing wrong with it! **I get turned on to! Its part of our animal instinct! People Deny this because they have been taught it is incorrect.
You gotta remember society has changed VERY fast in the matter of only one generation. Older generations were bought up with different values than younger ones and are less accepting. Give it time and it will be more widely accepted, even if people don't want to admit it!

I watch porn often. I tend to watch the stuff that I'd never do in real life. I know...strange. I especially enjoy lesbian scenes (because they just really know what they're doing and I find it fascinating even though I'm not a lesbian), DP (just because it's ballsy) and orgies (because it's kinky). I can live vicariously through these skanks and still live my normal, everyday life.
Everyone wins.

Because society is so into sex and sexuality, we have found ourselves more unfaithful now than 50 years ago. In porn you are watching someone else, getting turned on by them. Whose to say you aren't turned on by people you work with, then act on it.

I don't know what bashing you're talking about because I don't see anyone being bashed for watching porn, as long as they aren't pushing it on other people.

Society teaches us that being sexual is wrong. A lot of women are against it because they feel it exploits females. I have yet to meet a man who is against it. I believe a great number of these women who get on their soap box secretly watch behind closed doors.
Don't even try to deny it, you know who you are!

Insecure people feel threatened at the thought that their significant other is viewing better looking naked people getting busy. Also, there are those people who believe that the women in porn are victimized by the choices they made.
