This bill will deteriorate what America is and has been. We will no longer be able to be called Americans.
The worst thing about this bill is that these damned illegals will be the ones making all the money and controlling the wealth because they get everything for free, get paid cash, and don't pay taxes while those of us who are real Americans have to work for everything we have, have liberals in the government steal all of our money in taxes to give to these illegals, and will become the new poor.
There will be no more middle class, only the rich (those in politics and the illegals who were granted amnesty) and the poor ( the rest of us). That by definition is a third world country.
Any Congressman that votes for this bill needs to be removed from office in the next election they have to run in. I think that will send a real message to the rest of the world.
This country belongs to Americans!!!

I just came back from a business trip in India, a developing country, mind you. I also served in the military during war and have been in 3rd world countries. You have no idea what a Third World Country is to be making such a blatantly ignorant statement. And for those of you who just agreed with such idiocy, read a little, get some education, and try traveling a few yards away from your myopic utopia and support arguments with fact; not nonsense.
Is this what is going to solve the immigration problem? Racial/Class Hyperbole?
The current proposed immigration bill is far from perfect but solving the problem requires action; some of which will not be agreeable to everyone.
Quit bitching and come up with some ideas of your own. Or is trying to instill fear in the gullible mass the only way to mobilize a bunch of fanatics over a perceived threat.
When the hell are rational minds going to prevail in this country? Are we just perpetually doomed to be mired in this muck of foolish babble? I hope to God not!

We will be importing the poverty of the third world, once amnesty is granted. It will not be so much for us at this time but your grandchildren will live in a totally different world

I lived in a 3rd world country before so it wont bother me one bit. And that amnesty bill will never ever in this life time or my children's lifetime or my childrens children's life time be passed.

Wake up people, we live in America. Life is so freaking easy here. Higher education is easy to get. If you cannot pay for it you get loans out the behind and suck it up and pay them off after you graduate.
Education is the key to getting anywhere in this country. All you people whining about how america is going to become third world (impossible) need to get off your lazy entitled butts and do something with your lives, other than work at Walmart and watch NASCAR.
Without education you will and deserve to work a low paying job, and without an education in this land of plenty you deserve to lose your job to somebody who will do it better than you will, because you feel you are above it.

They won't pass it! I doubt the House will pass an amnesty bill because they are afraid for their jobs. The Senate are a bunch of morons but they don't listen. Bush is the biggest moron of them all if he thinks this would help America.

i was an illegal alien in the 3rd world, not exactly a cake walk but it was worthwhile. me thinks youre exaggerating, they're already here. Suits passing paper don't change much either way.

our schools are already being refereed to as 3rd world education. my 7 year old and her class mates are already suffering. all because of 1 student, 19 others have to suffer. she is out of school for the summer. but next year, if it happens again. i will be complaining to the school board. if they do nothing about it. I'll be talking to a lawyer. it's not right that our kids have to suffer because illegals can't speak English.
