Why did he create the clitoris? I mean, think about it. Wouldn't it have been far easier to create woman without the "fun button" that has no other reason to exist than sexual pleasure? Why make it pleasureable at all? Does god have the nastiest sense of humour ever? And please spare me the "woman has free-will" arguement about waiting until marriage and then having the pleasure....that's like giving a 2 year old an ice cream cone to hold and then saying "Now don't lick that!".

Whether you agree with my answer or not is not the case...the fact remains that pleasure was created by God for the marriage bed to be shared by the husband and wife. "sexual relations" was not created only for the purpose of procreation...a married couple could enjoy one another...it's allowed.
What happens when you go beyond the marriage bed??? You may end up getting yourself into a lot of trouble in the sense of STD's and the like...

God didn't give us sexual relations strictly for procreation.

It's more like giving a 2 year old an ice cream cone after dinner. It is intended to be a pleasure in a husband / wife relationship.

1 Corinthians 7:3-5 "The husband should fulfil his marital duty to his own wife and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife's body does not belong to her alone, but also to the husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone, but also to his wife. Do not deprive one another except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control." As for the procreation part, well that's really up to God and not us. Many married couples have unwanted children and others who want children cannot have them. Who, except God can justify all of that? It's not for any person to judge, explain, justify or decide. God knows what He is doing. All we can do is our part.

Then why has God made it sothat you are stuck with a child for the rest of your life as a result of sex? Was that some twisted joke?

Anyway, the clitoris and penis feel good because that is your reward for pledging to stay with your partner and be responsible and raise children in sickness and health til death.

BY THE WAY I THINK IT IS VERY TELLING THAT YOU COMPARE A GROWN WOMAN WITH A "FUN BUTTON" TO A 2 YEAR OLD WITH AN ICE CREAM CONE.

SAD.

The Bible says it is for the enjoyment of married couples and even tells the couples not to deny the other except for an agreed upon time of prayer. The sexual relations that are outside marriage are why we have so many sexually transmitted diseases, abortions, prostitution, porn etc. etc. There are some foods that are actually poisonous until they are cooked, sex outside marriage is like eating a rhubarb without preparing it properly... poisonous! But properly prepared rhubarb makes good pies, tarts etc.

There is a legitimate expression of sex and that is inside the institution of marriage.

Outside marriage is why we have women being exploited (prostitution) and even raped (Date rape, rape drugs etc. etc.) for their "fun button".... :-(

Just remember God invented sex to be enjoyed here on the earth, how much better will heaven be... :-)

Sex was created by God to be used for more than strictly procreation.

It is also to cement the marital bond between a Married couple.

Just like Alcohol, it is not to be abused just because we humans want to.

Look at what happens when we drink to much, Alcoholism, DUI's, death, and health problems, but are those problems the fault of the Alcohol, or the one abusing it? Alcohol has many useful purposes.

Sex is the same way, when you are using it outside of a committed relationship, you have viruses, STD's, Abortion, unwanted Pregnancy, divorce, Broken homes, more welfare, which leads to drug abuse, on and on and on.

Sex is not bad, and not just for procreation, but it is to be used in the way that God Intended, to bring us happiness, just like the rest of his gifts and rules.

Peace!

Its aGod given gift and a God given right to not only procreat but also enjoy what your doing. They compliment each other. If it were otherwise, one or the other or both would not exist. Its in Gods plan. Any person or ism that teaches otherwise is anathema (against) God and his plans and is therefore sinning. remember im not talking about free sex, but sex under another of Gods plans....matronomy.

I can't say with any certainty that it was created by a particular god. However, it makes sense to make sex an extremely pleasurable endeavor if you want to ensure the continuance of a species, especially one with higher level thinking abilities, opposable thumbs and an inclination toward blowing themselves up. Something has to distract us from self-destruction. If not for "great" sex, we'd have long since perfected even nastier ways of killing one another.

Obviously the purpose is that love making & enjoying it produces life. And in the flesh, produces a living baby.

Also, when both are also born of His Spirit, the physical act of love making between husband & wife affects the soul/spirit. And love is everlasting, so this would also be everlasting rewards.

God intended, as it is written in the Bible, for a man and women in marriage, to enjoy pleasing each other. To continue life. "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Without the indwelling and committment to God, we are at the mercy of our emotions. What feels good.
