Do a search of WWII. He was originally from Austria. You could try Smithsonian web site and ask about WWII. That should get you started. Or research the year 1945, I think that's the year he died. His secret headquarters was called: Wolfsschanze-(Wolf's Lair). I do believe the branch of service that protected him was called: Liebstandarte-(literally, Life Guard). Hope this helps you get a start on it.

Which one? There are many Hitlers in the world, some alive...some deceased. It is a surname with many variations too. Try ancestry.com and do a search. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Try Argentina, he fled there after WW2, just like most of the other High level Nazis. Also you could try to track down his three great nephews who live on the east end of long island.
