God's cure for lepers: Get two birds. Kill one. Dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly off. Next find a lamb and kill it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Finally kill a couple doves and offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. Leviticus 14:2-52

Definitely the Antibiotics. It's the only way, period. Hanson's Disease, as Leprosy is commonly known, is very easily cured with Antibiotics and very preventable, too. People who wash, don't tend to catch Leprosy.

And, by the way, the other one is disgusting and since Christianity no longer accepts animal sacrifice, I hope it has gone totally out of practice.

The leper is unclean in more than one way. Leviticus has some ritual cleansing and some physical cleansing. You left out the long part about how to wash his clothes, shave all of his hair, etc.

The idea for antibiotics originated in 1943. He couldn't wait that long.

The Bilbe ref. is about doing something by faith. It is something out of the norm. If God was ready to introduce antibiotics to man at that point, he would have had to give the technology to inject them etc. The whole picture would have had to change.

The animal sacrifice thing is a turn off. One has to keep it in a historical context. To understand the context is to gain additional wisdom.

The God you are talking about can heal any infection in the brink of an eye...
he can raise the dead too in a fraction of a second...
scientists can't..

he just chose that long method for some faith reasons..

I guess the "scientists" from the Old Testament must have accidentally locked their antibiotics inside their BMWs. Jesus healed lepers with the touch of His hand, but only a select few...as Jesus' time on this earth was very short.

Man didn't know about antibiotics. Get your ridiculous assertions straight.

Of course God knew, the Jews did not seek any other cure. When another avenue was sought, it was found. Kind of like taking one passage out of context?

God couldn't write prescriptions, for he did not go to medical school.

Idiotic question. God did a miracle. The leprosy was healed. If it was you with the leprosy, would you have a problem with His methods?
