hahahaha that is kind of funny..... it's like saying "I hate country music" and then you get in your car & put on a country music station on.

The essence of "Religion & Spiritualiy" community is talking about your belief in Jesus, God, or imaginary friends. Those that say they are sick and tired of hearing about these subjects are in the wrong group. LOL
Some people just have to have a reason to complain. Some have to lash out against others' beliefs because they feel threatened in some way.
That's just life. Just chalk it all up to being human and get over it. There are more important things to think about.

LOL...
You hit the nail right on the head there. Why complain about religious people in a religion section? Why not just stay out of the section and you won't have to see a lot of the religious questions then...
That's like someone who says they hate seeing people drink alcohol.. go hang out in a bar. What's the point? If you don't like it.. Don't go to the one place you KNOW it's going to be. If it takes place elsewhere then at least you can fairly make your statements.. But not in the spot that is made for it.
I think your question should be read by most everyone that comes here and complains about people being "too religious".. Maybe a few of them would then clue in that if they stay out of the religion section, they'll run into a lot less religious oriented questions! :)

People choose to ask a question on here and choose to read questions & answers.
Anything associated to religion or spiritual is acceptable along as it doesn't go against yahoo rules.
It doesn't matter if some people just want to read about necromancy or Buddah or something. They should ask a question about Buddah or something they want answers for. Or even ask that people don't mention Jesus.

Yes. It is silly. But they are telling us more about themselves than anything else when they say things like that.
So there is a laugh or two, Atheists being so damned unscientific all the time!

I doubt that they were talking about YA. They were talking about 85% of the people they deal with in their daily lives.
Personally, I'm not sick of them, though. I am sick of them running away from me with steam coming out of their ears when I prove why their bible is false though.
I really do wish they would calm down and prove me wrong, if they're so sure of their beliefs. :)

Really? Because I see people complain about a lot of things regarding religion but that is not one of them.
Could you provide a link or something?
You know how we like evidence and all.

If its about people here in R/S specifically, then yes, that's just plain silly. But if its somebody complaining here about hearing it in RL, then no, that wouldn't be silly.
As for football, boobs, and beer......I prefer professional fighting (MMA stuff rather than boxing actually), a**, and rum. lol

They're supposed to ask: "How can anyone still believe in deities?"
Hey, it's a question about religion.
