Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) ............For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

If God is love, how can we associate hate with God?
If He is all pervading, then all this is within Him.
Heaven,Hell, Satan, Angels. Nothing exists except by, through, and in God.
How can a timeless, Infinite Being have human attributes of emotions and an external existence?
The problem lies with the anthropomorphic view of God.
Which seems to indicate that man made God in his image, so that he could easily grasp the concept. Because the other view of an eternal Being; the 'I am That I am' is too difficult to get hold of.
Which is the reason why there are so many interpretations of what God likes, dislikes or wants the humans to do. Why should He concern Himself only with the one minuscule life form in the whole universe He created?
That too about the forms of physical interactions between one half of that life form?

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
And to the poster who said that he doesn't hate those with the disease of homosexuality, that is only a farce made up to have people feel better about themselves in that lifestyle. It is an abomination regardless.
The Old Testament laws are categorized in three groups: the civil, the priestly, and the moral. The civil laws must be understood in the context of a theocracy. Though the Jewish nation in the Old Testament was often headed by a king, it was a theocratic system with the Scriptures as a guide to the nation. Those laws that fall under this category are not applicable today because we are not under a theocracy.
The priestly laws dealing with the Levitical and Aaronic priesthoods, were representative of the future and true High Priest Jesus who offered Himself as a sacrifice on the cross. Since Jesus fulfilled the priestly laws, they are no longer necessary to be followed and are not now applicable.
The moral laws, on the other hand, are not abolished. Because the moral laws are based upon the character of God. Since God's holy character does not change, the moral laws do not change either. Therefore, the moral laws are still in effect.
In the New Testament we do not see a reestablishment of the civil or priestly laws. But we do see a reestablishment of the moral law. This is why we see New Testament condemnation of homosexuality as a sin but not with the associated death penalty.

God apparently designed the Hebrew community in 'the Promised Land' to multiply without deterrents. Their chief command was repeated from the time of the Garden of Eden onward to here-'Multiply and Become Many'
A homosexual life is a direct attempt at subverting this directive, and not looked Kindly upon in this Most Special of Places.
The people of this Covenant were treated with Zero Tolerance...and that's just the 'way it was'.

Greetings,
These cornered people state that because they are uninformed about what is truly in the scriptures. Yes this subject is mentioned in the New testament and is viewed as an abomination and not allowed to be in Heaven.
Revelation 26;27 might help there should be references to other verses there that might help.

He is against it in the new testament also
Romans 1:26-27:
The text reads (in the King James Version):
Romans 1:26-27: "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence [sic] of their error which was meet."

He still hates it along with all of the other sins such as adultery, fornication etc.....
But we all can be forgiven because we are all sinners saved only by Christ. God doesn't look at one sin differently from any other sin is sin therefore a liar is just as bad as a murderer a homosexual just as bad as a fornicator.

Marriage (defined by God, as one man and one women) is a creation ordinance, which means it's part of the moral law, thus perpetual.
