He's been barking strangely today. He usually has a low pitched bark, but now he's barking with a much higher pitch. Almost hoarse? He has a slight wease in his breathing also. Just wondering whats wrong with him?

The wheezing is what concerns me, its definitely worth a visit to the vet's office.

Could well be the beginnings of kennel cough, but there are other possibilities - heart problems, collapsing trachea, any other throat irritation or any other infection. Go to a vets to find out!

If u see any behavioral changes, u should take him to the vet asap! He might be in pain.

your waiting for amateur's opinions when you should see the vet? I'm surprised the dog isn't dead yet! just take him to the vet! this is bordering animal abuse! ( no, I'm not an animal rights nutcase)
