I think we all take life and loved ones for granted. These are the things that are most important to us, but sadly we take them for granted. We complain about many things in life and we sometimes argue with loved ones, but we never stop to think that death can come at any moment and it'll be too late then. I read this question earlier and it brought tears to my eyes and really made me think about all the things we take for granted.

That's what I hate about myself. Sometimes I don't take things seriously; sometimes I forget that death can come at any moment and forget about how I treat others. God did not put us on this earth to hate, we're here to love and follow His orders, and to help others.
Now that I think about it, before my father died, I didn't love him as much as I should have. He was sick with cancer, and he needed my help. Little did I know that God would take his life away 5 years ago. May Allah (swt) rest his soul.
And I exress my deepest sympathy for that sweet lady who lost her fiance. May God guide her and give her strength to make it through her situation.
Allah (swt) gave us one life on this earth. Let's do whatever we can to do good and give ourselves good names, instead of taking things for granted. Allah (Swt) knows best.

It's things like this that make you grateful for the ones you love that are still here with you.
I'm sorry for her loss and hope that all can realize that tomorrows not promised to us today, and take advantage of the privilege to tell you loved ones you love them while you still can.

you are so right, I read her story & e-mailed her too. We should let our family know how much we love them & we should never go to bed in anger @ them or anyone else, you never know you might not be able to say your sorrry to them the next day .

A lot of us wish we had it better - maybe had better parents. But we can't choose our parents. We can only try not to screw up our own families. Better yet, don't start them if you don't feel up to the task. Cynicism rules.

i kind of agree cause i was set to get married and then my girl died and then i started to thinking of everything and it made me more atheistic
