I don't believe that homosexuality is a choice. I have spoken of this with gay people and they all say that they knew they were gay as young children, and if they could be straight, they would be. I also know of some gay folks that tried very hard to be straight, and lived unhappy for many years trying to be what society expected them to be. It is just how some people are born...period. It is not their choice or fault. I've argued this point to death with many narrow-minded people, and they just refuse to believe it. They are so naive and ignorant.
Apparently, animals can be gay, too, which doesn't surprise me.

You've got to be kidding me. I have seen many times 2 males animals living together with no females and one mounts the other. In order for the species to procreate, the male must be ready at all times (because it is too hard to tell when the female will be ready) and needs the release to maintain comfort. That's how animals like humans and cats are fruitful and multiply. All through the ages, armies far from home and far from females have resorted to homosexual behavior to satisfy that need - just as animals similarly without females do.
I personally don't know if it is a choice or not - and it's none of my business - but I can see that it happens with animals too.
Peace!

Homosexuality is not a choice. That's all on that matter.
As for a animal not having the free will to make choices is obscured. Ive never heard that. If you have a pet you know this.
When you call your kitty to you it is not compelled to come (probably just looks at like your crazy), But when its wants something, you can be sure that it'll come.
Just like when the alarm goes off in the morning, we aren't naturally compelled to get up. Going to work to make the rent is the force behind that.
Well I just rambling now. Got to go.

As was said, animals aren't 'gay,' they are simply sexually charged, so they exhibit homosexual behavior if there are no females around. Usually this is reserved for higher animals, however, like dolphins and chimpanzees.
The individual who said animals are mindless is himself mindless. Animals (again, the higher animals) have the ability to think, make choices, and solve problems. They communicate amongst themselves and they even communicate with humanity. Homosexual behavior most often takes place in an environment where there is no other option. Other times it is simply a reflection of that individual animal's sexual urges. In other words, it will take what it can get, lol.
And I agree, whomever said Satan makes them do it is either joking or living in the Dark Ages.

Why does everyone who has the arguement about homosexuality bring this up?? This is NOT a valid justification for homosexuality. There are only TWO species on the planet that have any sort of sexual contact for pleasure; US and Dolphins. And you don't see homosexuality in Dolphins at all. When you see what looks to be homosexual behavior from animals, what you're looking at is a show of dominance from the the "alpha" of the group.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against homosexuality, you should be able to do whatever you want with your body. I don't think it's a choice to be straight, so it doesn't make sense that it would be a choice to be homosexual. But the animal argument is not a valid one....find another one.

Animal men at the instant are not at the instant are not very choosy whilst aroused . attempt explaining that for the period of your 5 365 days previous daughter who theory it exchange into the funniest element she had ever seen. And by employing way human beings loosen up. could the international end revolving if animals have been or weren't gay .

While I agree that homosexuality is not a choice, this assertion does not debunk the myth. Animals are capable of making personal decisions, like where to look for food and... who to choose as a mating partner. Many species are very competitive in this aspect.

Free Will!!!?!?! LMFAO! Animals are neither gay nor straight! This "homosexual behavior" is nothing more than an animal masturbation! Female animals don’t “lez out” because their genitals are not easily accessible. Males will rub their member on anything they can simply because they can do it. Why do you think they try to hump your leg? Because they are trans-species in their sexuality? Give me a break! Saying that animals are gay is the same as saying that masturbating makes you gay.
Stupid answers to a stupid question this round.

Studies lead to the conclusion that sexual orientation is in place very early in the life cycle, possibly even before birth. Homosexuality exists in nearly every species of observed mammals.
