no, which i think is not fair!!! if there were a draft, put their names in too, and if they get drafted, and get killed(not that i want this to happen), then ill bet hell call off this whole thing. were supposed to be fighting for freedom? i thought we were already free. stop meddling in other countries business before there be no americans left!

I'm sure if that's what they wanted to do then he'd let them. After all, this is a free country and it's because of our military that the Bush twins and the rest of us have the right to choose our own pathways in life. We are indeed free, but what you people seem to be forgetting is that the radical, Islamic terrorists want to take our freedoms. They, in fact want us all dead! Have you forgotten 911? Have you not heard about Saddam terrorizing, raping, murdering his won people? Let me give you a tad of education, Jennette. If we did have a draft, they don't draft women.

This question gets old, bu its a volunteer force, if they volunteered, why wouldn't he. And if I had the opportunities that they have had, i doubt being in the military is real high on their priority list. Why do people feel that two women such as them, should have to serve?
PS. If he had a son of age I might feel alittle differently, but I'm not exactly on the women should srve band wagon.
PSS. No, there shouldn't be a draft, and even if they did, women wouldn't be drafted so you barking up the wrong tree.

I have no doubt that if President Bush's daughters wanted to join the military and would up being sent to Iraq (Iran, Afghanistan, or what ever) that he would let them do so. Despite Tom Brokaw's lies about Bush, President Bush served honorably in the military and he knows what is at stake. Most people haven't a clue as to what is at stake: the survival of America.

If he has any feelings about the service members that would be in the same unit as them, then no he wouldn't. Having the president's children in a unit would be WAY too dangerous for that unit.

would he let them? likely since he signed up for the service and his dad flew on WW2. many senators and house reps have family members serving right now. most, 60% of military commanders have sons and daughters in theater in Iraq.

Not a bad suggestion. Let them serve the American troops there. Am sure nothing makes the military happier to fight without fear.
