The world is changing and the old rules of morals and ethics seem to be slipping fast - I personally hate not getting a real person on the phone and have to press 1, 3, 4, 10, 1000 to get to the person and then they are rude. I feel that the old addage the customer is right - is gone left somewhere. As far as the parking space next time call and have them towed.

I am originally from Minnesota where customer service, is very alive. Then to my complete horror I moved to beautiful Washington State, good grief is all I can say. Its so dead here as far as service, I don't think they understand the concept. Store clerks act like your an annoyance. Safeway is the only hold out for serice of quality. (food store). Even their employees have a pained expression of a smile. Nope, customers are on their own here: Beware! Same thing with parking---Managers here don't want to know you after you sign on the dotted line. Infact most every company is less productive, must be coastal living ethnic.

Because you are a wuss and let people treat you like crap. Stand up for yourself and don't take any bull from anyone. If your getting lousy service, go to the manager. If someone parks in your designated place, leave a note on their car saying that the next time they do it, you will have it towed - as long as it's in writing that it is your space, you can have it removed. The Golden Rule in life is : " Don't Take Any Sh** From Anyone", or else you may as well paint a bullseye on your back.

well I say it can be considered a little rude to park behind them. you need to do the right thing and have a tow truck take their car away. that is the kind thing to do or at least the proper way to do it. first give them a little warning with a note on the door saying they parked in your spot and make sure it is marked as belonging to you with a number. then talk to the manager. then get it towed. but then I am a stickler for doing it the proper way.

So true. I've walked out of places because of that. Apparently they don't need my business and can get along fine without my money.
I would do what you did about the parking or simply put a note on their windshield so I wouldn't be bothered later. The parking behind would be if they did it again. Third time would be towing.

dude, have fun with the car thing.....as for customer service, it really depends on where you are shopping. places that actually treat there workers as human beings have great customer service for the most part. if your shopping somewhere where the employees really don't give a crap about who they work for then yeah-who cares if the customers are treated right, they sure don't. also i've noticed in general that manners have been going downhill quickly-alot of kids aren't raised with them anymore....so i'm thinkin it's just gonna get worse!
