I follow the medicine wheel teachings. That teaches you to remain centered and in balance. If you go to far to the direction of one, you go too far away from the other. Wisdom teaches you to stay in the middle, because if you don't then life will make you go there anyway.
I knew a person that believed so strongly in a matter, that he became an activist. He wouldn't see the other points of view in that position. He flew high as an eagle, and saw many things, but forgot about the vision of the mouse, who sees things at ground level. One day he fell, he fell so hard that he could only see from ground level, like a mouse. Today, he has wisdom from that fall, knowledge from seeing high above and knowledge from seeing low to the ground. He chooses today to not try to see over his head or under his feet. Is he a thinker or a feeler? He is a thinker who has feelings while he thinks.

Which do I follow? All of them. I guess it would depend on what I'm doing and why I'm doing it... sometimes it's all head, and logic, other times it's all heart and emotion. Sometimes I have to use both my head and my heart...
I don't know that anyone can be only one or the other... everyone uses both, even if only occasionly.

I'm a thinker. Not that I lack emotion, but I usually keep it in check with logic.

You can when you follow Christ. It's not all pie in the sky, or peaches and cream. It takes commitment, courage and faith. But it also requires love, sacrifice and a healthy dose of common sense. You can have both head and heart engaged at the same time, (contrary to some beliefs).

You 'must' balance them. If you believe in God, you'd know that He said us to live our life with all gifts He gave us. So: think and feel, head and heart, logic and emotion, but overall, LOVE.

I am a thinker...because I think...
I am a feeler...becasue I feel
I use my head...to solve problems
I use my heart...to deal with people
I use my logic...to solve problems
I use my emotion...to deal with people
All of those are aspects of being human...
Everyone uses all of them...
Perhaps our idea of self would prefer to
be perceived as one rather than another...
but we all use them all....

Yes, You can balance them.
I can't think, without feeling.
I can't use my heart, without my head.
I can't be logical, without emotions.
God gives us all these things, but we need to use them all accordingly.
Jesus Bless You
