Spaying (not spading) is most certainly NOT mean thing to do - it's the most responsible thing you can do.

Spaying yor dog before her first heat gives her a 75% chance of not developing mammary cancer in later life. After she's had a heat this chance is reduced to 50%, and to 25% thereafter. Spaying also prevents pyometra, ovarian and uterine cancer. What more reason do you need! If more peope realised how common mammary tumours and pyometra are in older female dogs, more dogs would be spayed.

Your dog will not be sad if she's spayed - they're not humans, they don't have this perception. She will not know what has happened to her, other than she's got rid of that pesky urge to mate when she's in season

Please go ahead and do this for your dog's health - and that is my heartfelt request.

It's called spaying. No it is not cruel even she has not ever had puppies. Vets recommend spaying at of after six months of age. If you don't plan on breeding her, have her spayed. The benefits of spaying can include a gentler demeaner and it has recently been proven that spaying a dog before having puppies can be beneficial to the overall health of a dog. If you decide not to spay her be prepared for at least three weeks of a heat cycle. Problems might include vaginal bleeding on the carpets, whining, males hanging around the house that will try anything to get to her. If they do manage to get her be prepared for her care and that of the puppies.

The word is spayed. Spaying her is the best thing you can do for her. It is better healthwise for female dogs to be spayed. It prevents reproductive cancers and other reproductive diseases like pyometra that can kill your dog. It isn't necessary for a female dog to have puppies. They aren't like people and they don't miss it. I have had two extremely happy female dogs who were spayed before their first heat. Which brings up another point, you never have to deal with a heat cycle again.

And the biggest reason is that there is a terrible pet overpopulation problem and having fewer puppies means fewer homeless and unwanted pets.

So definitely get Sasha spayed.

It's called spaying first of all.

And I think it is a great idea! It is easier to spay a dog before she had puppies and she will have less complications. She will heal faster and there is less of a chance for infections. You would end up saving money and having a happier, healthier dog if you get her spayed while she is young.

If you breed her with a pitbull, the puppies will be MUTTS! There are already so many poor unwanted mutts getting killed everyday. Please spay your dog.

You don't mention her breed... so I doubt you know anything about the risks of breeding.

You spelled 'spayed' as 'spadding' or 'spaded'.

Yeah... get your girl spayed. If you aren't willing to invest enough time in your dog to learn how to spell 'spayed'... well. That's answer enough right there.

I have an Airedale Terrier, a German Shepherd/Chow combine, and an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie combine. What style of puppies do I want I would have...Besides Airedales, more commonly a few type of Setter or Pointer, a Giant Schnauzer, a Boxer, a Belgian Sheepdog, a Collie and an Irish, Lakeland, Scottish, Wheaten, Welsh, and Wire Fox Terriers The coolest factor my puppy does is peel boiled eggs. The funniest factor he does is he sits in a wheelbarrow and allows you to push him round far and wide.

Spaying her is one the best things you can do for her! There are many health benefits to an early spay. As for not having puppies, GOOD! There are way too many dogs born now and millions are killed every year because of it!

I really don't know what spadding is, but I like the idea of spaying. I have 2 females that are spayed.

Spaying is one of the most important and responsible things you can do as a pet owner! Animals are not attached to their reproductive organs like people are, they do not grow up hoping to have a family some day, people put human feelings to every thing. Please get her spayed you will greatly reduce the risk or mammary cancer and you will not have to worry about the bothersome heat cycle.

"Spayed", not "spaded"... Good for you! There are far, far too many unwanted cats and dogs wandering the land, homeless, miserable and doomed to injury, illness and early death because so many freaked up humans think it's "cute" to let these creatures breed like flies. If you love your dog, have her spayed. She'll live longer and happier!
