Well first what do u want it to do??? Measure temperature . measure the air density. generate a radio signal to track it and report on what it has found. Oh there are some other parameters too. In sun light the temperature will be 350 deg. the shady side will be -200 how do u take care of that. If u can do the finance u need to plan what u want it to do.There is no reason to put something up that has already been done. The show the Farmer Astronaut is a joke . In NASA we all had our jobs , I would do mine and there are people to check u out . Good luck it is very technical.

i don't know what these other people are thinking but making a satellite is easy. getting it launched into space is the trick.

you could probably making something similar to sputnik, but that's about it, getting it into space is the hard part
