We recently purchased a nice new HDTV and the Dish Network man came yesterday to hook it all up. We use a pioneer receiver, DVD player and VCR as well. The surround sound was working fine before he came but now we cannot use it to watch the TV or the VCR. We can hear a DVD in surround but neglected to check the other components be fore the installer left. I called Dish Network and they tell me it's not their problem if the HDTV is working properly. I have looked at my connections and the main thing seems to me that there is no coax connection from the VCR to the HD Sat box like before, but with the new connections there isn't a place to do so. The whole point of this was to have great sound for the ball games! It seems like with 7 available inputs we would be able to make this work!!
