I need to lose 8-10 lbs before I go to California in about 3-4 weeks. I'm 5'7" & about 127.5 pounds. I have a problem with binging, mostly on sweets. I could really use some helpful dieting tips to lose the weight quick!

May I tell you the truth? Honestly, if you are 5'7", 127.5 lbs is actually on the skinny side, and you really shouldn't be losing any more weight. I am 5'4" and weigh about 124 lbs. and I would be lying if I didn't say that I think I look great at this weight! I used to be thinner in college, but I didn't like how bony I looked. Now I have a few curves without being too heavy, and I still wear a size 2. I wouldn't want to be any thinner. Maybe what you really need is muscle tone. A person can still be flabby when they're thin, giving the appearance of excess body fat. Try a Pilates workout for 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Especially target your abs, butt, and thighs, and just see how awesome you look in 3 weeks when you go to Cali!

To be honest with you, you don't have a long way to go. If you don't work out and not even a fan of exercise, I would still try to fit in some sort of activity 3-4 times a week, maybe a long stroll, preferably hills or even rollerblading. Swap sweets for something sweet but healthy. Watermelon at room temperature works best, gives you that sweet taste and is full of antioxidants and also water.H20!Cannot stress it enough. Good luck and keep strong.
