I am about half a head taller than my husband without wearing heels. Most of the time i wear flat shoes, but i like wearing heels every so often. My in-laws are "small people" and i sometimes feel like a giant, but most of the time i don't care. I am about 5'8. How does other people see a couple like us ?

My wife is taller than me...only by about an inch, but i slouch most times, and she wears heals, so most times she's like 4 inches taller than me...i'm all good with it...it just means that she's the one that's asked to get the stuff off the cupboards :)

I feel ya! I am about an inch or so taller than my husband and he is really thin to boot. I'm not heavy or anything, but he is just so small and skinny. I stick with the flats too unless we are going somewhere that the dress would require nice shoes. Although, I am a very laid back girl and I wore nice white flat flip flops to my wedding. They were nice- don't get me wrong. Not the $1.99 ones from the store. I felt the need to be in comfy shoes on the one day I would be at the center of the attention. That and I didn't want to be freakishly taller than him in our pictures.

Flat footed I am 1/2 inch taller than my man and my wearing heal doesn't bother him so when I am in the mood I do without hesitation. You and your husband are who matter in this situation and who cares what other people think. If he hated me being taller I wouldn't wear heals except for work or out with the girls.

Sorry, for saying this, but I think its hilarious. Every time I see a couple like you I can't help it, it makes me laugh. Although, I don't see anything wrong. All I can say is if your happy you shouldn't worry about what others think.
