Before you are able to enter the military, you must have your high school diploma or G.E.D. On top of that, some services (like the Navy for example), rarely accept G.E.D. recipients. But there is this program called the D.E.P.(Delayed Entry Program) in which you can be signed into the military, but will actually join and go to boot camp until you graduate. During this time you'll take the ASVAB(Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test) to see what jobs and fields you Qualify for, visit MEPS(Military Entrance Processing Services) get a phyiscal and talk to a career counselor, and fill out some paper work,Good Luck and Go Navy!!!!

You need a GED to join but you can earn money for college and lots of credits in different specialties while serving. I've earned 140 in my 19 years in the Coast Guard.

Uhh, shouldn't you already have that to get in the military? Or did they waive that so kids 15-years-old could get in without trouble to become carbomb sponges?
