I see most of them using they're belief to ignore or "make they're problems go away" instead of facing them and learning the value and meaning of life. I believe in god but I also believe we were put her to make our own decisions in life and follow our own path. Not to depend on somebody we have never seen to "save us" or make decisions for us.

Everything happens for a reason, its called fate, its called the universe, not god. God is there for help and some guidance, not to map out our whole life plan. It doesn't make them a martyr believing or attending church, they are human as people who don't believe in god. We all make bad decisions, follow the wrong path sometimes. It's called LIFE.

Strangely. I have been fooling around with Answers for quite a long time, and haven't come up with anyone attempting to become a martyr.
A true Martyr is a person who is made to suffer great pain in an attempt to make him renounce his God. I have seen none of that here. Preaching - - yes, a lot. Great physical torturing, none.

Don't be so narrow-minded to think that Christians in the U.S. aren't threatened. I've seen them fear for their lives and wonder from one day to the next who was going to kill them. They were not paranoid, they were facing real enemies.
