I'm American and love Europe, but honestly, I feel like America offers more religious freedom in general (though Europe tends to have more freedom for Christians specifically). In France, women cannot cover their heads or wear religious garments of any kind in public buildings (neither can men, of course), and in all of Europe, there is a lack of free speech - denying the Holocaust is a crime! (While I don't deny the Holocaust, I support full freedom of speech, which we mostly have in the States).

The Bible is all about giving up the luxury of home and protection and leaving to find God's treasures (Seven gifts of Holy Spirit). Adam & Eve left the protective abode of the Garden of Eden to search for knowledge and convert to wisdom. Joseph (coat of many colors) was sold to Egypt, and saved his family. Moses left Egypt and lead his ppl to the land of milk and honey. David left home and became King. Jesus left his father (in heaven) and mother (Earth & earthly body) to bridge a path for all mankind to get to heaven.
The Bible says, " ... For this reason man leaves home and clings to his bride ...". Following this, you can relocate in a nearby house, neighborhood, country, or contenent ... somday, nearby galaxy ... Religious freedom is where people co-exist not as adversaries, but rather allowing freedom of speech, charity, and justice. There are many places and people who promote this today ... so let the world be your oyster!!!

look, no-one is saying they don't have the properly suited to a mosque. Mosques are being equipped throughout this u . s .. the concern is they're construction it at floor 0. it may as though a White Supremacist group have been to construct a headquarters at Auschwitz. the justifications are obvious... for people who care approximately what occurred on 9/11.

Just exactly what country are you thinking about..., there is more religious bigotry and repression in "Europe" than here in this U.S.
The muslims are militant and very vocal and oppressive all over. Now, if you are looking at freedom FROM religion, you can go to any place and fit in just fine.

The Old World, eh? Perhaps we could find a company to sponsor us. I hear gold is available for the picking in the hills of Old England and the locals would trade corn for fire water.
Let's go!

Heh, I wouldn't mind living in some European country.
But that's beside the point; someone's got to stay here and defend America against the theocratic fundies who want to subvert our freedom.
