Hogarth did a series of paintings set in and around Covent Garden and in some of them there were clocks, either prominent or that you had to hunt for... to confirm that the time did indeed match the colour of the sky :-)

I don't know any others though, sorry :-)

Hogarth did when he painted towns and villages and portraits of famous family.... e.g. grandfather clocks....
